Sacla' Review - The Pesto Pioneers

We love Sacla' in our house, there is always a jar of Classic Basil Pesto in cupboard or fridge, we love the taste and its amazingly versatile.
Paige has Classic Basil Pesto three out of five days for shcool packed lunch. She would have it every day but I am worried she may go off it.
Its great on jacket potatoes, or mixed with green salad leaves and added to a ham sandwich. Mixed with cheese on toast its really scrummy.
I was sent the Classic Basil along with the new Wild Garlic Pesto also New Fiery Chilli Pesto.

The Wild garlic is sublime, if you like pesto and garlic you are in for a treat, it makes a fab garlic bread. Just spread on a baguette and add mozzarella too if you like a cheesy garlic bread. There that's my recipe of the day its a bit basic, but the taste is not its a lovely accompaniment to a spaghetti bolognese.

If you like it spicy I thoroughly recommend the Fiery Chilli Pesto, its got a lovely kick, I enjoyed it stirred into fresh tagliatelle as I wanted to taste it on its own first, but again this will make a warming dish on top of a jacket spud and with some good sausages to accompany. I even want to add a dollop to baked beans I bet its good.

Pesto is a little bit of Italian cooking magic that Sacla' have very close to their hearts. That's why Sacla' have led the way in bringing Pesto to the world with a range of traditional and contemporary Italian family recipes.
We think the best pesto should coat every piece of pasta, making it drip with colour and flavour. It's also fantastic with meat, fish and vegetables. We should know, we've been the country's numero uno pesto for the past twenty years.

A combination of freshly picked basil and Grana Padano cheese is the secret behind every recipe. And just in case you were wondering, yes, they're all made in Italy.

Classic Basil Pesto Facebook:

Close your eyes and conjure up the aroma of freshly picked basil, the rich release of crushed pine kernels and a hit of newly grated Grana Padano cheese. These are the signature notes of our classic green pesto.
Stir it through a steaming plate of pasta and shower with parmesan.
It's equally welcome when it's spooned over new potatoes, in place of butter, or generously stuffed under the skin of a chicken breast before roasting.

New Wild Garlic Pesto

Our new Wild Garlic Pesto is truly irresistible. The combination of gorgeous Wild Garlic and fragrant Basil will tantalise your taste buds.
For a deliciously simple supper, just stir through your favourite cooked pasta and shower with Parmesan. Be inspired - spread a generous spoonful onto a sliced ciabatta and bake. For the ultimate comfort creation swirl through creamy mashed potato and serve with love.

Fiery Chilli Pesto
There's a real kick in every spoonful of our fiery chilli Pesto. Just stir through your favourite cooked pasta and serve with a glass of robust red. Be inspired - brush generously on to skewers of chicken, wrap in pancetta and simply grill.

Buon appetito!
