Scotch Brite Giveaway

I recently had the chance to get down and dirty with Scotch Brite's newest cleaning cloths and scourers. You can read all about it here http://given-to-distracting-others.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/scotch-brite-review.html

I was impressed with the range, particularly the Non- Scratch Scrub Sponge, I have so many pans and bake ware items that need a gentle hand and this did the job well. I was happy that it also fit nicely into my hand due to the wave shape.

The sponge cloths are in a pack of five, they have great absorbency and are really soft so you can scrunch them up  and really get into corners. I have usually shied away from buying these and use white dishcloths as most  of these cloths are pretty rigid and don't mop up enough. I will be buying these again.

Since the advent of non- scratch scourers and cookware requiring a gentler hand, I have not bought many heavy duty scourers, however I always have some in for the nitty gritty cooker clean up. The Scotch Brite are very tough and I removed some baked on marks on my grill pan, that had refused to budge before.
