This year's best-seller is Pointless (age 10+ RRP £19.99) based on the hit BBC1 game-show hosted by Alexander Armstrong - the game where you have to fight your natural instincts and try to score the lowest number of points by guessing the least popular answers to general knowledge questions.
I reviewed the game last year and its still a favourite, I also love watching the TV show.

I like that the winner is the one with the least points, so for instance, if the question is 'Name top 40 hits of the Beatles with two word titles,' maybe the first one you think of is Hey Jude or Penny Lane, while correct, they will also give you high points, less obscure answers such as Eleanor Rigby will give you low or no points.
If you have watched the show and enjoyed, or even just love a great board game, you might want to enter the giveaway as University Games have kindly offered Given To Distracting Others readers a chance to win a copy of Pointless.
Stockists include; Argos, Toys ‘R’ Us, WH Smith, Amazon, Tesco. Travel version (£9.99)
