Pizza Hut have been running a brilliant offer all summer, it was widely advertised on TV adverts and you may have visited. Over 900, 000 kids did eat free. The great news is Pizza Hut have decided to extend the offer until next January 9th 2011.
Now I know that times are tough and families are feeling the crunch and one of the first things to take a hit are family days out.
A trip out to the zoo, a theme park or even the cinema is a costly day out, so I would like to tell you about a couple of the free days out we have had as a family this summer that were free.
We went from home on our bikes to the local country park, we each carried a small back pack, filled with a sandwich, packet of crisps, cake and Chris took a flask of tea and pop for the kids.
I have panniers on my bike, so a blanket, waterproofs, chocolate, football and bread for the geese and ducks all came too.
Don't forget the camera on days like this as these can be the best of times. We have shots of us on our bikes, squealing down the hills, it was a great time to chat as well, so relaxing.
The park has a big adventure playground, a free BBQ area too, one for us to utilise next time. We rode around the cyclepaths, discovered a huge oak with a rope, watched people bridge diving, not that I will recommend that as a free day out!
We fed the ducks, played on the adventure playground (Yes its for the big kids too!)
All in all it had not cost a penny, we had laughed, shared fun and all for free.
However until you tell me about a restaurant that serves food to the family for free then Pizza Hut have come the closest for helping out the credit tight families.
Kids Eat Free Until January 9th 2011, For every adult main course or adult lunchtime buffet purchased, an accompanying child can choose from either a FREE 2 course kids meal (includes a drink) or a FREE kids lunchtime buffet (includes pizza, pasta and salad).
