To celebrate the start of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend, toy firm Bandai will be holding a Harumika fashion workshop for budding designers where they can create outfits fit for the Royal Family. The event will take place in the Queen’s Arcade Shopping Centre in Cardiff on Saturday 2nd June from 9.30am to 4.30pm, close to The Entertainer toy store.
The Harumika workshop and demonstrations will allow young girls to learn how to make bespoke fashion designs on miniature dress forms without the need for scissors, sewing or glue. Children will receive a Creative Tips leaflet and a voucher for The Entertainer to save 15 per cent on any purchase of Harumika, meaning they can pursue the hobby long after the event ends.
Held on the first day of the half term break, the workshop is perfect for entertaining the children and giving them something creative to focus on for the rest of the holidays. From the Queen’s colourful array of twinsets to Kate Middleton’s sweeping gowns, there is a huge scope for children to use their flair and imagination, and gain some top tips from Harumika experts!
