#Blogging4Madeline

I have been thinking about Madeline McCann all month, since the new investigation is turning up witness reports which were not followed up and seem really relevant. Read Taxi driver insists that he picked up Madeleine McCann hours after she vanished (express.co.uk) and the possible sighting just after she went missing (telegraph.co.uk)

Then the photo came out to mark Madeline's 9th birthday today 12th May 2012 and its an image of how she may look now.
Madeline McCann was abducted whilst on holiday with her family in Praia da Luz, Portugal on Thursday 3rd May 2007.

Wherever she is I am wishing her peace, I find it hard to utter 'Happy Birthday' as I feel her happy birthday would be at home with her Mum and Dad.
So really all I want to do is mark the day and my birthday wish is that for her next birthday Madeline is back at home where she belongs.

We can all help to keep Madeline at the forefront of the public's minds until she is found.

Fortunately, there are many cases of abducted children being found and returned to their families - even after long periods of time. The vital piece of information that leads to a happy and longed-for reunion is usually thanks to a caring and vigilant member of the general public, often recognising a face from a poster. In fact, 1 in 6 children are recovered after being recognised from a poster! It is for this reason that we must continue to remind people of Madeleine and the fact that she is still missing.

I have joined up with #Blogging4Madeleine  a campaign launched by  A Mummy’s View (@mummysview) and TeaandBiscotti (@TeaandBiscotti). So please show your support and if you have a blog, join the campaign and keep her face in every ones minds.
