Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver Review

Wave Hello To Catwalk Style: Recreate Runway Looks With Enrapture
I long for wavy tresses and sleek waves, I have invested many a pound on heated rollers crimpers Z curling tongs. Some with great results some either not strong enough to hold or too hard to use. With my hair its a real lengthy process to get my hair to looking good.
I have long hair that to be honest, I struggle to curl, its poker straight, a curl drops even at a picture of a damp day.

I have to admit defeat when it comes to using my straighteners as a curler. Its such a clever creation, that a straightening iron creates curls, when I have had it done in a salon, it looks so good and really lasts. My hairdresser gave me lessons.

Alas I can do one side, but on the left side, I get so confused about which direction to curl. It usually looks quite messy and I end up straightening it all out.
So I am always on the lookout for an effective curler that is designed for a cack handed stylist such as me!

I was very impressed with the packaging, the Enraptue commes in a sleek purple case, I presume if you want to store it long term you could keep it in the case.
It also comes with a leather look pouch, I like this as I find when taking hair electricals on holiday I like them to have some protection.

Its a large accessory though not too heavy to hold, I think its completely manageable as the process of waving my hair was so fast..

The advice I found online is to have a practice before switching it on so I can work out how to move it along the hair sections, I thoroughly agree with this as its tricky opening the barrel an placing on a strand for the first few goes, much better if its not hot.

When it comes to heat settings there is a small dial on the handle.

I found it incredibly simple to use, my first attempt was wavy hair as I used on the lowest setting.

The second time after advice from the Enrapture team the effect was much more defined, I used heat protection spray to protect my hair, I straightened my hair first to make it more sleek and I turned up the dial. I have quite fine to normal hair but its resistant to being curled or styled.

My camera is on a swap over to a great new one so the effects will be on here soon. I styled Paige's to get a good shot of really long waves.

I adore it its simple to use, effective and I was swamped with lots of comments on how good my hair looked, cannot ask for more from a styler!!

The wavy tresses I long for are now minutes away whenever I want.

Tousled waves have graced the catwalks of designers including Armani, Pucci and Erdem, I love the look and really want to recreate it.
Well now women everywhere can now recreate runway looks at home, with the brand new electrical hair styling collection by Enrapture.

The Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver is this season's must-have tool. With superior titanium plating and three jumbo sized barrels which can easily create snag free, natural looking 'S' waves that stay put all day.

To create big tousled waves as modelled by glamazon Giselle, Start underneath and take a 2 inch section of hair and spray with light hold hairspray. Hold the hair at the tip and clamp hair between the top barrels and bottom plate for 5-9 seconds, beginning at the root. Repeat to the ends of the hair. Once all sections of the hair are styled, comb through with fingers to loosen the waves. This creates the Spring/Summer boho look. Add plaits and hair brooches for that finishing touch.

For more defined '40s S waves as seen on the catwalks of Christian Dior, repeat the process but use a touch more hairspray before styling to structure the wave. Do not brush through once styling is complete.

With an emphasis on professional performance, the Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver features a sprung marcel handle for an easy grip and variable heat settings for use on all hair types. The ultimate styling tool for extreme glamour, the Enrapture Amplify Jumbo Waver is ideal for use on occasions when "everyday" hair just isn't enough and none more so than setting the trends for Spring/Summer 2012.

The Enrapture range also includes two additional cutting edge styling tools; Encode Totem Styler and Extremity Heated Rollers. So when everyday hair just isn't enough, the Enrapture collection allows women to achieve styles that will leave them feeling daring, confident and sexy, setting the scene for 2012.
