Heinz Squeeze & Stir Review

On Twitter Ive just been discussing the fact with tweet friends that summer was sadly lacking this year. I have gazed forlornly this weekend at all the summer dresses that really did not get a peek out of the wardrobe.

But I've sulked enough now and am moving onto  one of my favourite seasons autumn, I have some wonderful features coming up too. I've some fab food products and kitchen gadgets  coming up for review in the next couple of weeks, so every cloud as they say.... and boy have we had a lot of those!

With regards to meals and the kitchen I've begun to think of warming foods and hearty fare that will feed an army my family!
Paige and Con are hard studying this year, Chris now travelling further to his new job, so nobody gets home for lunch. Sandwiches aren't the best on cold days even if you are snuggled up inside.

When Heinz asked me to try the new Squeeze & Stir the next generation of cup soups, I knew that if they were anything like any Heinz soup they would be good not only in taste but in ease of preparation.

Unlike previous soups made in a mug, these are purees, not the traditional dry powders.
Heinz tell me all you need is a kettle, mug and spoon!

Well I had the kettle and the spoon, Heinz provided the soup and rather sweetly the mug.
You simply tear the pack and squeeze the puree into your favourite mug, add just enough boiling water to cover the contents and stir thoroughly before topping up with more boiling water. Stir again and sit back and enjoy!

It tastes exactly as you expect Heinz to taste, fresh, natural and warming.  the minestrone is flavoursome and satisfying. Its such an easy procedure for a tasty warming lunch and very portable for the family to take out for the day.
For the Slimming World people who follow me its a lovely low 2 1/2 syns for the minestrone on all the healthy eating plans. So great for people at work and in too much of a dash to make homemade soup.

The nations’ number one choice, Cream of Tomato soup is available, along with popular favourites Minestrone, Mediterranean Vegetable & Cream of Tomato with Basil.

A Mug Full of Goodness
Comforting the nation since Heinz Cream of Tomato soup was first launched in the UK way back in 1910, soup fans know It Has To Be Heinz. The new Heinz Squeeze & Stir range contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, is low in fat and unlike other instant cup soups on the market, provides one of your 5-a-Day.

Heinz Squeeze & Stir soups are available in major retailers. RRP 59p per sachet.
