The BBC Good Food Show Summer takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 15th to 19th June this year and it promises to be a fantastic day out packed full of celebrity chefs including James Martin, Rachel Allen as well as the MasterChef Experience featuring John Torode, Gregg Wallace, Dhruv Baker I have heard on Twitter that the new 2011 winner Tim Anderson will be there as well as a whole host of past MasterChef contestants.


Plus with a great array of producers and exhibitors it’s the perfect foodie day out!

I love the show go every year, sampling new foods, collecting a host of fab free samples and entering competitions. We come home absolutely stuffed full of food and drink, laden with goodies, inspired by the chefs creations and tired but happy. My kids love it while we sample the wines they fill up on Carte D'Or and Mueller desserts.

 Discover summer food and drink from regional producers. Stock up on homemade goodies ideal for alfresco entertaining – or buy regional cheeses, pickles and wines. If you are looking for a traditional picnic hamper or state-of-the-art kitchen gadgets, you’ll find them at the Show.

Nothing tastes as good as fruit and veg picked fresh from your garden, so whether you’ve got an allotment or just a window box, you can take advantage of free entry to BBC Gardeners’ World Live. Top experts from the BBC 2 series will be on hand to offer advice and you can buy all the seeds, plants and produce you need, to start your own kitchen garden too.
