I was sent Radcliffe's Prosecco to sample. I have never had a glass of it before, surprising when my ultimate favourite drink is Champagne and this is said to be less expensive substitute for that fantastic bubbly.
I have up to now bought Cava but I am here to announce an addition.
The Prosecco has a light golden colour like pale straw, it bubbles very gently.
I found it to have a fruity almost flowery scent. To taste there is a hint of pear and maybe peach, maybe apricot its a fruity flavour that works well and I have to admit to feeling a little sad that I have missed out drinking this before. I drink white with mostly everything but I imagine this is a perfect drink for starters and desserts, fish too. I read that some Italian folk serve it with wedding cake!
This is my second bottle of wine sent for review from Radcliffe's and I am so grateful to them, I am the one reviewing them but they have given me yet another new wine find and I am grateful.
LOVELY BUBBLY
