I found that the only way to get through the early days of having twin babies to look after was to sleep when they did and drink lots, but I ditched "full fat coffee" (as we call it) as I would never have managed a nap in the day when they were both having their naps. I switched to decaff then but not the Douwe Egberts, wish i had its a smooth medium good tasting cup of coffee. I know I am biased as its up there in my top coffee brands to drink but this would have been fab for relaxing with a coffee but not making me wide awake.
Whatever stage of parenthood you’re at – whether you’re a new mum, or chasing after a toddler – you’re no doubt in need of a relaxing evening and restful night’s sleep whenever you can get it!
For mums that like to unwind and take a few minutes with a great-tasting cup of coffee – but worry that the caffeine intake may compromise their sleep – those vital few minutes to relax with a cuppa can often seem out of reach. If you opt for Douwe Egberts Decaff you can take that much-needed time out without worrying what effect it might have on your precious shuteye.
We challenge you to sample Douwe Egberts Decaff and savour the rich fullbodied taste, minus the caffeine. Try it for yourself today, and see if it wins your seal of approval.
Coffee Tasting Tips
· Use one dessert spoon of coffee per cup – add a little more or less
depending on how strong you like it.
· If brewing coffee in a cafetiere, add hot water just off the boil, stir well
and leave for 3-4 minutes before plunging.
· When tasting coffee, it is best to ‘slurp’ at it, as this covers your tongue
evenly and allows you to get a full mouthful of flavour across all the
tastebuds.
