Sound Asleep Pillow Review

I have a problem with this review already, its caused a verbal pillow fight.

Now as you know I have two older children, both have iPods as do I and Chris so who gets to keep it? Well Paige said her as she goes to sleep to music relaxation music and dolphin sounds which do carry through the house some nights. Conor said it should be him, as he turns anything up loud enough for all to hear.

I as Chief Reviewer pulled rank and got to try it out first.
In everyday terms its exactly the same as any usual pillow, its lovely and fluffy. Very comfortable for a good nights sleep, I had no neck ache the next morning despite that its really high, so its a good quality pillow.
Whats fab is the  ability to listen to your fave music, the radio or TV without cumbersome headphones or in my mind irritating ear buds.
I was concerned that a speaker in a pillow would be uncomfortable, but I never felt it at all. Chris and I both tried to locate it and its near impossible, that's how comfortable and fluffy it.

What continues to amaze me is once I sorted the volume was one how amazing that I could hear anything that's surrounded by a pillow, which lets face it can be used to muffle sound, well the foam can. Yet its clear and easy to listen too, yet the person next to you can sleep undisturbed.
Even awake Chris could not hear my music, well unless I broke into song, not recommended!!!

Two that it did not disturb anybody else. Chris sleeps soundly anyway so for review purposes he tried it and I was sure when lying down I would pick up sound, but not a note!
Its so good when a couple are in bed and one is wanting to be awake and the other is tired. No disturbed and grumpy partners.

My children have nabbed it now and are sharing week about and as they have a love of youtube at the moment, this is ideal if they want to play via the laptop at the weekend in their rooms.
I definitely could do with another and I have also spotted the memory foam pillow version great for me I think.

The Original Sound Asleep pillow is the best-selling speaker pillow on the market.

Made in the UK with a luxurious hollow-fibre, the speaker is undetectable and offers a totally restful sleeping experience. It’s a perfect gift for all ages – young children listening to their favourite audio books, teenagers listening to their latest tunes or insomniacs who need to listen to white noise in order to nod off.

As the speaker is built inside the pillow, this unique product requires absolutely no headphones. You control the volume of the sound, so only you can hear your personal music, meaning your partner can sleep in peace.

The Sound Asleep pillow requires a music source, such as an MP3 player, radio or a television (as long as it has a 3.5mm stereo plug to connect to the pillow). The pillow will not emit any sound until it is connected to your device.
Not suitable for children under 5 years.
