Camp Bestival Here I come

I am rather excited as I am off to Camp Bestival courtesy of Persil. From Rizzle Kicks to Rolf Harris, Jimmy Carr to Dic and Dom, Shrek

As well as all the usual festival excitement, bands, comedians and fun I will be popping along to the Persil Mosh and Wash stand to meet Sophie Ellis Bextor as the musical mum launches a summer of ‘Getting Messy with Music’ at Camp Bestival.

Hopefuly the mud has dried, but there will still be plenty of mess children can get into. The sun is shining, the children will all be sliding around on the grass. Persil is encouraging families to come together this summer to make some noise and get messy with music. To kick this off, the first ever ‘Mosh & Wash’ stand will be launched on Saturday 28th July at Camp Bestival in Dorset by English singer-songwriter and musical mum, Sophie Ellis Bextor.

Festivals conjure up ideas of music, fun and of course, mud, and that’s where the Persil ‘Mosh & Wash’ stand will help. Families will be invited to join Sophie in making and creating music, whilst Persil takes care of the kids’ mucky festival gear with onsite washing machines.

Kids will be able to dress up as their favourite rockstar and get a taste of what it would be like to perform at Camp Bestival with the special ‘Mosh & Wash’ stage, complete with a live festival backdrop. Sophie will be helping the kids create their very own song and a dressing up box, face painting and musical instruments making area will also be on hand for families to rock out with their kids.

People can be in with a chance of winning their very own festival and other prizes by simply uploading their rockstar videos and photos at

I will be back next week with lots of gossip and news of the weekend
