I was hoping to get some fabulous shots of us having a barbecue when I received the Bar-Be-Quick Union Jack Party Size Instant Barbecue.
Alas the rain has been teeming and I really don't want to put you off the idea as we all know sunnier days are around the corner and there are some lovely extra Bank Holidays courtesy of the Queen!
Instead I will dream of brighter skies and juicy ribs and chicken slowly sizzling on my latest patriotic review. The sight of the Union Jack is enough to spur me to think British when I finally get to use these lovely packs.
Celebrate the best of British with seasonal veggies, I marinate in olive oil, basil, thyme, rosemary and spring onion and then pop them on nearly at the end of cooking. easy to make a tub of this and take out to your fave BBQ haunt.
The barbecue is impressively big it will cater for up to 10 people, and will burn for up to 1.5 hours. Paige did point out that it was only big enough for her sausages. She does love a bbq. Its perfect for me as I can cook more of the marinated chops and chicken with that much time to use.
A great spicy homemade marinade 1 tsp cayenne or paprika pepper, 2 tsp black mustard seeds, 4 finely chopped garlic cloves, two limes the zest and juice, 2 tbsp olive oil and a pinch of salt.
I am sitting here drooling and I cannot wait to use these packs soon.
