I love the sample of Renapur I was sent, why because Chris loves polishing shoes and it means with a new product to try I get to review it, then he takes over, he says it reminds him of spending time with his Dad who used to do the school shoes on a Sunday.
While we are not as traditional and doing this each Sunday, he will still sit and enjoy the task turning a scuffed pair of shoes into a gleaming shiny as new pair. I meanwhile trialled it on a leather belt and an office chair.
The chair being a large area gave me a chance to savour the sweet scent, its a lovely honey fragrance so very enjoyable to use. Its easy to apply and you can use very sparingly, one pot of Renapur cleans and protects over 1000 pairs of shoes, so its going to last us well.
I found that it gave the belt I worked on a lovely natural polish a soft sheen and it felt softer. The chair was really a good surface to see how soft and clean Renapur made the leather.
My worst habit according to the man of the house is leaving lids off things, I have wax for my pine table in a jar, I'm forever polishing the table and chairs, tget distracted by the phone or something else and leave the polish to go hard and wasted. With Renapur its guaranteed to keep soft for 10 years, even if you leave the lid off! May save my hide too then!!
I was disappointed that it will not clean my leather suite, as its analine leather, its not got that top coat that a lot of sofas have, its softer, warmer and incredibly beautiful but alas I have to buy expensive specialist cleaners, not Renapur's fault of course, it does its job as it should, but would love to see them develop a specialist cleaner too though.
Worth getting some in for the new school year and yes it will be here before you know it!!
