Ultrathon Insect Repellent Spray was developed by 3M to give up to 8 hours protection against mosquitoes and other insects in a splash and sweat resistant formula.
It contains 25% DEET in a special base that allows it to be released more slowly onto the skin's surface than most other products where the DEET is simply mixed in a water or alcohol base. This provides the benefits of longer-lasting protection without requiring the use of higher concentrations of DEET. It also reduces the number of times that re-application is required.
