WONDERFUL PISTACHIOS A DELICIOUS WAY TO PREVENT EYE DISEASE

June 13th-19th is Eye Health Awareness week. So if you’re looking for a simple, delicious way to help keep your eyes healthy why not try snacking on some tasty Californian pistachio nuts?

Pistachios are a fantastic natural source of Lutein, an antioxidant that is hugely important to eye health. Lutein is proven to help reduce the risk of age-related macular disease (AMD), a degenerative eye condition and the leading cause of irreversible blindness in the Western World.

There is very good evidence that Lutein in food helps protect against AMD and cataracts, two common age-related eye disorders[1].

Wonderful Pistachios are available in two delicious flavours, Roasted and Salt n’ Pepper, which are equally perfect for sharing with friends, or as a desk snack or mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

Look out for the distinctive green and black Wonderful Pistachios packs, available from Tesco, Holland & Barratt and Julian Graves (RRP £2.49).
