EzyRoller Dragster

How cool is this dragster, though I would call it a Go-Cart (I would be wrong though)

I spent many a summer in friends garages making out homemade carts from planks of wood, pram wheels, the big old fashioned wheels at the back smaller scooter one at the front.  We borrowed all manner of parts to get our dream machines ropes to guide our feet, then trialled them down a rather too steep hill.

We invariably ended in a heap, wheels scattered, knees and jeans torn up but determined to get the design  right next time.

Yes I was a bit of a tomboy, albeit a bit of a girl when it came to injuries.

Those were the days and these days  I know without a shadow of a doubt I would not have let my two risk life and limb, hurtling down a concrete slope like me. However having now seen the Ezyroller  and how stable it is, I am happy to recommend this instead.

Its not a Go-Cart or a bike it says in the blurb, created by a Dad so he has obviously thought of the safety aspects, It is balanced low to the ground, I am sure Chris and the designer would have a technical talk on the science bit behind the design.

I only can see its designed  to be a fun toy that will be safe too,  you can be confident your child will be having a fab time, while their clothes, shoes, but more importantly elbows and knees remain in one piece and the Ezyroller stays firmly together too.

Its easy to assemble, easy to ride, ideal for tots from 4 years old but can be altered for your 14 year old teen boys and girls too.
It has a very strange side to side motion, very clever, easy to manoeuvre and very safe to stop.

Its a really well built vehicle and I think this is one toy that will keep on being played with and passed along to the next age group.

I reviewed the red version, also in blue but you really are going to love the Union Jack one seen below.

DON’T JUST FLY THE FLAG… RIDE IT!

Micro Scooters’ Funky Dragster

Enjoying worldwide popularity following the Royal Wedding, the iconic Union Jack is the height of cool once again. Cutting edge toy company, Micro Scooters, has launched a Union Jack edition of their popular EzyRoller dragster at www.micro-scooters.co.uk

The EzyRoller is the must-have mode of transport for cool kids on the block. Not a bike, not a go-cart, the unique Ezyroller moves like a snake without the use of chains or pedals. Propelled by a ‘wiggle’ movement, its low centre of gravity makes it incredibly stable.

Made from strong, hard-wearing steel, it features non-marking, sturdy wheels making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. And its clever breaking system makes it super safe too.

Children love riding the EzyRoller and it’s great exercise for them. Available from www.micro-scooters.co.uk  and from most branches of John Lewis, the EzyRoller costs £84.95
