Scarlett & Crimson‘s Double Trouble Concealer review

Why do spots attack just as you are about to go on an special night out or you are aiming to look really good. Paige and I were bemoaning this fact on her Prom night as on the morning, a huge spot (possibly seen as bigger by her eyes) appeared just as if to mock her attempts at perfection.

The same for me as I planned to go out just this weekend, there it landed silently smirking I'm sure.
Why can I not have other teen attributes, good skin, no lines, anything even the moods nope I just get the blimmin spots?
Scarlett and Crimson has been a favorite purchase one for the cute packaging it makes great Christmas presents. To be sent their newest launch Double Trouble in our house of twins seemed rather apt.

Created by beauty icons Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall, the full Scarlett and Crimson offers a range of 35 unique products which have been designed to celebrate self-expression, individuality, creativity and friendship.
Well with the spot outbreaks we can certainly do with the offered friendship!

Most  spot sufferers know that applying concealer onto active "blemishes" you will be spreading bacteria and then putting it back into the tube. However this clever little stick has one end with a blemish gel which keeps spots at bay.

The concealer is fast and easy to apply. I usually use the applicator to put a dot on my finger or concealer brush and apply that way, this is best done to avoid the spread of more spots.

Its a lovely thick liquid so it holds to the skin well, but is not so thick it does not spread or dries too powdery.

I was sent the medium shade, which is exactly as you would expect that shade to be. My tip is to apply, let it dry a minute or two then pat it on over the blemish you wish  to cover. By giving it a bit of time to dry it thickens just a bit and gives for a better coverage.

Top marks for a cute package, concealer that is really rather good in doing just that and the gel to zap those nasties on arrival.

Be confident in your own skin with Scarlett and Crimson!
