£40, 000 for your family from Paypal - What would you buy first?

If you got the chance to Win £40000 for your family what would you buy. Dream for an afternoon about how you’d spend 40 grand.  Would you blow it or grow it?  Go on the holiday of a lifetime, or save it for a lifetime of holidays?  Buy Liverpool FC, a vintage car, or an extraordinarily large meal for everyone you know?

My two both want to go to university when they leave school, Paige wants to be a teacher. Conor wants to be a police officer and has been told by a friend who is a  careers advisor that the police force are introducing a degree type entrance to the service, so he would be better placed to get in if he goes to onto to higher education.

So for me £40, 000 would see them easily into  the universities they need, pay an allowance so they could live and hopefully come out at the end without huge student debts.

Any money left would perhaps turn the spare room I have while they are way into a  dressing room with wardrobes and my own personal study.
