Bulova watches – which arrived in the UK in September 2010 – give British men and women the chance to sharpen up their look, New York-style, and enjoy the world’s most accurate timekeeping technology.
The Mad Men look has taken the fashion world by storm, with its impeccable tailoring and painstaking attention to period detail. Fashion designers around the world have been inspired by the 1960s silhouette in the latest fall/winter collections, and retro-styled garments are available everywhere this season.Bulova’s credentials are steeped in the golden age of ad land – it was the first brand to be advertised on the radio in 1926 and it was the first to use a television advertisement in 1941.
The Bulova Accutron Amerigo collection is simple and stylish. Distinctively curved, this sophisticated Swiss-made design features a stylised silver-white dial with arched, retrograde-hand day indicator, priced at £450.The Bulova Adventurer collection is inspired by Bulova’s 135 year history and rich historical association with exploration – Bulova even designed the timekeeping technology used in the first moon landings.
This meticulously styled chronograph with a retro look was inspired by watch designs from the Bulova archives – creating a sense of the past but with a modern twist. The timepiece is crafted in stainless steel with a black leather or stainless steel strap and priced at only £189.
My personal favourite is this amazing looking watch designed for Bulova's anniversary piece
