When Chris and I met it was love at first sight, but also we both agreed that with a love of board games we were a match made in heaven.
I would have married him for his Game of Life and his Twister (The game people, the game... honestly such rude minds!!!)
While other couples went out to dinner, we were ordering takeaway and setting up our boards for a games night. Scrabble, Monopoly Categorically Speaking and Boggle, I even forced Chris to play Mike Reads Pop Quiz Board Game, because of his love for me he would suffer it silently. He cannot stand the game, only because I always win!!

Boggle is still a favourite, it goes on holiday with us each year. I love the box and shaking it up to get a selection of letters to form a word.
The children have played it since little, just watching us at first and shouting out which letters they recognised and gradually as they got older, so too being able to form words thy joined in also.
We take it on every holiday its a great fun filled gamee and easy whatever ability you have with words as its for fast thinking.

I am not going to say anything negative about original Boggle, its fun, great for debate when dodgy words are formed. Very noisy when you shake it, not designed to play when you have a headache or the mornings after the nights before. But a firm family favourite.
Times move on and I was asked to review the new Boggle Flash, here they are side by side.
New Boggle Flash is the slide & shuffle game that knows your words, an amazing play experience that you won't want to put down once you get your hands on it. Line up the tile cubes, press go and race to find as many words as possible from the letters shown in 90 seconds. The 'Smart Link Technology' knows when you make a word, keeps your score and changes letters with every turn.
The interactive electronic word game! Slide, swap and shuffle the tiles to make words FAST and beat the clock! Includes storage box to let you play anytime, anywhere! For 1 or more players.
Each tile is small and not too chunky, very neat, they have to be laid out touching each other to work. Then you start play you have 90 seconds which goes incredibly fast. The tiles let you know as soon as you have made a word, so no more cheating for Chris who comes out with hilarious definitions of random letters which he swears are words.
Paige and Conor loved it especially when the first letters up were I N E T W and Paige shouted out "TWIN its our game, see!"
The tiles store in a neat box, great again for our holidays and it will be joining the original.
Chris and I love it, its not replacing our old game its a fab new addictive addition.
Family verdict - Brilliant fun, fast not repetitive, great for building words, stops bickering as the Smart Link decides for you.
Why not get a taster and have a go playing Boggle Flash online as well.
