Righteous All Natural salad dressings review

I can't wait for summer now, its been a really long and hard winter or so it seems, I am looking forward to being out in the garden BBQ's, picnics, lazy weekend lunches and good food.
I do like concocting different salads, adding cheeses to one, maybe fruit or different spices  to others and often try my hand  at a few dressings just to add a bit of variety to salad leaves.
Some are successful, others send the salad  wilting to the bin as I've overdone the balsamic, or been a little too handy with the chilli flakes.

That's the fun of experimenting, however I love it when I can depend on a good taste and its packed full of flavour and even better natural ingredients.

Introducing you to my latest batch of review products, I am happy to say I have met my match in the maker of this salad dressing range.

Gem Misa the founder says "I’m not a health fanatic, I just just love food. Like anyone, I have my ‘bad’ food days but for the most part I try to ensure that what I eat (and what my family eats) is as healthy as possible.
I started Righteous primarily because I believed my home-made recipes tasted great and I wanted to share them with you."

This makes me want to try the dressings, foods from one person just sharing their love speaks so much more to my need for keeping food natural and cooked from scratch. Like Gem, I have days of snacking and foods that may not be in the health food range, but overall I want products right down to the sauces etc to be good and naturally made.

There are three Righteous All Natural salad dressings to choose from: Ginger and Toasted Sesame is perfect with the delicate flavours of oriental salads, whilst zingy Lemon and Mustard Seed tastes great over peppery rocket and juicy cherry tomatoes; the Raspberry and Sweet Basil is delicious drizzled over lamb’s lettuce and creamy goat’s cheese croûtons.

The Raspberry and Sweet Basil is Chris's favourite, I made the salad with feta and and Italian leaf and drizzed over the Righteous dressing. The flavour of the basil complements the sweet raspberry and even for my more savoury liking palate it worked well over the creamy cheese. This will be lovely with roast lamb and new potatoes and is the next dish I want to try.

Chris tried the Sweet Basil drizzled over Stilton Cheese on crackers, sorry to purists out there, but he does love to mix and match his foods, he said the sour stilton and sweet taste of righteous was "Righteously good!" he will never make a reviewer or comedian I'm afraid!

The Ginger and Sesame is fabulous, we tried this on a chicken with noodle and bean sprout concoction of mine, I added garlic, peppers and carrot batons, mange tout. Stirfried until just cooked.
I wanted to try it just to give oomph to something other than a salad and glad I did, it has a lovely Asian taste and the ginger is hot and the sesame warm too and nutty. This is also fab on just plain leaves of salad.

Now here is the crowning glory of Righteous All Natural's in my opinion, my favourite lemon (stop yawning out there I know I go on!)
married with the heat of mustard (yes my hot spicy passion too!) to give one of the nicest flavored dressings I have ever had. I tried this for my lunch the day I received the trio, I had a feta salad and drizzled generously with the dressing, a perfect lunchtime treat. Its fab with mackerel and green leaves also.

“We want to show people that salad dressings can be natural, healthy and taste great. We only use the best ingredients in our recipes, which means that the flavours really stand out. Unlike many other salad dressing brands, we never add water or starch to bulk them out or dilute their flavour”, says Gem Misa, founder of Righteous. “What’s more, all our dressings are made using rapeseed oil which means that they are lower in saturated fat than those made with olive oil.”

Ginger & Toasted Sesame Dressing was also picked as one of three, ‘gold star winners’ for salad dressings in the  Great taste Awards.
