Surcare Review

I was asked if I would like to try some of the Surcare range and as I send vast amounts of time washing clothes and washing up, it was going to be easy to review. I was sent four  products to try the washing powder and liquid version , the fabric conditioner and the washing up liquid.

Surcare Powder 800g (10 washes)
Dermatogically tested and approved
Outstanding cleaning performance at 30°C
Non-biological
Fragrance Free
Free from perfumes and dyes
Suitable for sensitive skin
0.27p per 100g
Price £2.18

The washing powder went straight into action on what I consider to be a tough stain to remove.. blood.  A combination of Conor's new footy boots, a blister and his need to pick at the blister and we had our first test on my cream bath mat.
I obviously gave it the same chance I give my usual range of powders and ran cold water through the stain then added salt to absorb the excess. This then gets washed normally and can be hit and miss as to removal.
The Surcare got top marks, it then successfully dealt with load after load of washing and all came up clean. So did the Liquid wash, worked extremely well on all washing and removed grass stains from hockey socks.

I must admit to missing a scent on the clothes I am a sniffer of wet washing, I find it unusual not to have a fragrance and when I've used soap nuts in the past have added a little lemon fragrance.

Surcare Superconcentrated Liquid Wash 630ml

The fabric conditioner softened the clothes, I saw absolutely no difference whatsoever, clothes were easy to wear and felt good on. Again the difference was in lack of scent. Perfect if you do like unscented clothing.

Surcare Washing Up Liquid 450ml
£0.20 per 100ml.
Price £0.88

With our hands exposed to the elements daily, it can be difficult to maintain the balance of the precious skin that covers them. With no added perfumes or dyes, Surcare washing up liquid is perfect for those looking for great cleaning without harsh chemicals. Suitable for sensitive skin.

The Surcare Washing Up liquid was very good indeed. It cleaned greasy dishes, made glasses shine, had suds and in this instance I liked the lack of scent on my crockery. I usually rinse and rinse so I have none of the taint of washing up liquid.

In conclusion I found no difference in cleaning ability, the range dealt with normal soiling and tougher stains too, I did miss fragrance a little but knowing these are free of some chemical nasties, I could get over this easily!
