Thurs Dealtastic Deal of the Day

My advice is do not drink and drive, but while the law allows a small glass of wine, if at a friends and its not measured out you may be over the limit, so this device at least makes the road safe. Be handy for schools to check students wouldn't it, but I think they are not allowed to....madness! Also great for businesses who have drivers ie lorry haulage companies, taxi drivers!

Having the correct information is so vitally important when making the dangerous and potentially expensive decision to drive after a few drinks.
We all rely on speedometers to keep our driving speed within the legal limits. But, what if cars came without speedometers, and the police still enforced speeding laws with high tech radar guns?
It would be really difficult to tell what a particular speed feels like if you never had your speed tested, nor had any previous experience with 30 mph for example.

Yet, not many people really know what .05% or .08% BAC feels like, unless you have a way to get it measured.

In a 2007 roadside survey conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 2.2 percent of drivers had a blood-alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher, which exceeds the limit for driving while intoxicated in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

How can an ordinary person be expected to obey the law, unless they have personal breathalyzers to measure their levels of intoxication?

Please note: The breath tester comes without a backlight.
