Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour foundation

I am if you remember a Rimmel VIP so I get the chance to try out some of the lastest marvels from their makeup bag.

This time they asked me and all other foundation wearers this question...

LASTING FINISH 25 HOUR FOUNDATION Want a foundation that lasts as long as you do?

Not sure about you but I definitely say yes

So after two weeks  of using Rimmel’s new Lasting Finish 25 hour foundation, I am still positively saying yes!

Firstly I was confident with the colour choice, I picked True Nude (303) and what I love about picking one was that I could choose a shade based on previous Rimmel foundation purchases.

This is great if like me you hate buying a shade even after a colour swatch, then getting home and realising it looks too orange or pale.

 I’m very warm toned and blessed with freckles, seriously I love them, but it can mean that a foundation has to blend in with my tone and cover darker freckles too. The 25 Hours managed with ease.

I very much liked the  pump  down applicator to get the foundation out and it went really nicely onto my skin with a foundation brush, I do not recommend fingertips, it does not get the evenness

I would also advise giving yourself a little time for the foundation to be perfectly dry. I am a terror for rushing this sometimes, I get bored with applying makeup and this can be a bad mistake as it looks as if I rushed or I have to completely reapply.

  Coverage was excellent it was smooth, evened up every area well and the finished look is flawless so it s well worth taking your time.

I look natural with it on and it feels light and easy to wear.

And as for lasting 25 hours?

I tried it just over the course of normal days and it certainly went the distance with me.

 I never did 25 hours straight through, but so good was it that I went to London a couple of days ago, applied it at 6am, we drove to the outskirts, tubed into the centre, I went for a manicure, followed by lunch. Afternoon shopping and tube travel meant for a good test for the Rimmel, hot dusty tubes with hot wind rushing into my face, crowds and hot  shops, combined with freezing icy winds on the streets.

At 6pm 12 hours later we checked into our room to get ready for the theatre and my foundation was in place and as good as 12 hours before. I did not reapply and we got back after the theatre and dinner at midnight.

The foundation was still good, I really don't doubt its claim, as after hot shops, restaurants, theatre and  a full day out, it was still as fresh.

Rimmel lasting Finish certainly not only lasted as long as me I think it outlasted me.
