Camitz Sparkling Vodka Review

Camitz Sparkling Vodka serves up the Christmas spirit

This is a totally new experience of drinking vodka for me, Camitz is the worlds first sparkling vodka and it works!!!

I usually drink a premium vodka mainly mixed with cranberry juice or pomegranate. I love sparkling drinks and never have thought of teaming a fizzy drink such as coke with vodka. But as a sparkling drink its wonderful.
Camitz is very good to look at, perfect for Christmas, it has the air of champagne about it complete with cork to pop, so great for  the festive parties.

It looks clean, pure and refreshing. I learnt that this vodka is as clear and pure as it looks.

Camitz Sparkling Vodka is distilled in Sweden from grain sourced from the wheat fields of that most Christmassy of regions, Scandinavia. The water comes from the renowned ice age underground springs of Töllsjö, where the balance of minerals is ideal for the production of superior vodka.
Continuously distilled five times, the vodka is then carbonated using a specially filtered gas, documented to be the cleanest of its kind in the world.

So once I have taken this in, I turn to read that its 40% abv (alcohol by volume) so this may be pure, but if I drink lots I may nor feel so pure.
It is sparkling and remains so for about 8 hours, it will be sparkling with a champagne saver for up to 3 days, I have one and it did last that long. The great thing is if you prefer vodka without bubbles, it becomes that after the fizz has gone. I have to say I loved it, its different, party suitable and feels Christmassy.

If you like the sparkle, I recommend drinking at its best in the one evening with friends. Serve chilled and in an ice bucket.
I teamed it with my favourite pomegranate juice, its my way of staying healthy while drinking. It tastes really refreshing with bitter lemon too.

Just kidding, I love the taste.
Camitz suggest a champagne cocktail and I would love to try the doubly bubbly, here though is a cocktail recommended for Christmas.

Camitz Sparkling Vodka complements delicate flavours such as fresh seafood, sushi, oysters and shellfish, enhancing salinity and balancing acidity. It will also provide a new alternative for lovers of steak, salmon and game.

Camitz Sparkling Vodka offers the ultimate shot, served straight or combined with your favourite mixer. Camitz Sparkling Vodka can of course also be used in mixed drinks.

Small amounts of high quality liquor, fresh fruit, and garnishes as well as combining with Champagne will make beautiful sparkling cocktails.

Camitz Sparkling Vodka can be found in many of London’s most stylish bars and restaurants. Outlets include The Winchester at Islington in the city’s north, the exclusive Roof Gardens in Kensington, the swanky Sugar Hut in SW6 and The Last Days of Decadence in Shoreditch.
