Percol Black and Beyond Review

If you are a coffee lover, with a passion for it, you will agree possibly that trying a new coffee is similar to trying a new wine, or for non imbibers a new chocolate flavour or taste. I like coffee and I like different blends and tastes for different moments.
I like a medium roast in the day, a mild smooth taste late evening, after a good meal I like a rich dark blend.
Percol make some really sexy claims for the new espresso Black and Beyond and makes me want to drink it just from the blurb below. Satisfyingly it lives up to the claims, its a deep, strong strong taste, really heavy and perfect after a good meal. Despite the strong flavour its so smooth and strangely easy, mild feeling in my mouth. The beans are black as night and I expected a huge instant coffee kick, but it is more subtle. It is a clever name as its certainly beyond what I expected looking at the dark beans and liquid in my cafetiere.
Perfect after dinner drinking.

NEW, Percol Black and Beyond is liquid seduction for your lips. With a new and unrivalled intensity Black & Beyond juxtaposes a rich nutty flavour with the complexity of dark and sticky cocoa. Coffee lovers will love this new ultimate espresso, and what’s more, it will love you back.

Satisfying the desire for deeper and stronger coffees, for the very first time, new Black & Beyond is richer and darker than any other coffee. Its intensity of flavour is profound and deep. Unlike other espressos there is no bitter aftertaste, only alluringly smooth silkiness.

It’s the coffee you have longed for. Luxury and indulgence come easily to Black & Beyond. You can grind the beans for an espresso machine or produce its dark intensity in a cafetière or filter machine. And while you indulge your senses you are helping others at the same time through Percol’s Good For Life initiative.

Brian Chapman, the creator of Black & Beyond said, “I have been searching out the finest quality beans and perfecting the roast for the ultimate espresso for nearly twenty years – it is my passion. Finally I have found the perfect beans and the perfect roast to make an espresso which is simply just perfect for coffee lovers.”

Percol Black & Beyond is available now at selected Tesco stores nationwide, priced at £3.79.
